Relationship of Mother’s Characteristics and Nutritional Status in Children in Indonesia

Nutrition plays an important role in the human life cycle from womb to old age. The 2009 health law states that main priority of efforts improve nutrition Indonesia is vulnerable groups, one which infants and toddlers. results study used Evidence Gap theory with aim analyzing relationship between maternal characteristics malnutrition status children under five based on published studies 2015-2020. research method meta-analysis a cross sectional design. total six articles (full text) online 2015-2020, using calculator program Review Manager 5.4. were age mothers 20-35 years during pregnancy (85.4%), low education level junior high school, not working parity > 1 (65.7%), most number no more than two children. (68.1%), mother's birth spacing does exist, knowledge good. conclusion was three analyzed meta-analysis, namely p = 0.002 OR 3.2, occupation 2.70, 0.0001 4.98. That data mean there significantly nutritional under-fives Indonesia. Variables age, parity, children, cannot be meta-analysis.Keywords: Characteristics mothers, status,
